How do I NOT filter GoToMyPC on port 8200?

Note: this is a good example of NOT filtering a specific port for a specific application.

This Port 8200 is used by GoToMyPC to communicate. To create a Filter Exception for TCP Port 8200, go to:

Appliance Manager > right-click an iPrism > System Configuration > Access > Filter Exceptions.

Click Add, enter a Name, enter Source and Destination IP address ranges, beginning at 0.0.0.0 and ending as 255.255.255.255 respectfully.  Enter the Port. Select Protocol.

With No Filter selected (as shown above), no IP address will be filtered for port 8200 TCP traffic. If you wish to be more selective, use No Authentication instead ofNo Filter, as the usual problem is that iPrism asks GoToMyPC to authenticate with an NTLM challenge, which GoToMyPC does not understand.Suppressing the iPrism authentication request may be all that is necessary to establish a successful GoToMyPC connection.

If No Filter was to stop working at some point, it would most likely be a port number change that has occurred in the application. You would have to investigate what the new port number has been changed to.

If the port 8200 filter exception does not work, or you need specific IP address information, see:
