05 - Override Mgmt Tab

The Access → Override Mgmt tab is used to view active overrides, and possibly revoke active overrides.

Active Overrides

The columns display the following:

• Administrator. The privileged user who created the override. This is only relevant when using user authentication. The override will only be valid for the indicated user. When user authentication is not used, or when the override is valid for all users, this column will indicate ”r;Any”.

• Profile. The filtering profile affected by the override. This may be the name of the profile overridden by the user or it may read ”r;Any” if the override is relevant to a network, not a profile.

• User/Workstation. The user, workstation, or range of workstations affected by the override, using the IP addresses. If only one workstation is affected, this column will show its IP address. If several workstations are affected, this column will show the IP Network Range.

• Expiration. The date and time at which the override will expire by itself.

• URL or Category. The URL (single page or domain name) affected by the override. If the override was performed for a list of categories instead of a URL, the categories affected will be displayed.

To revoke active overrides:

1. From Access → Override Mgmt → Active Overrides frame, select the item you want to revoke, and click the Revoke button, or click Revoke All to revoke all active overrides.

Note: To restore the original settings on the Override Mgmt tab, click the Reset button.
