How do I restore my iPrism configuration?

There are two restore options:

Restoring from a Prior Compatible Configuration Backup

Notes:

Compatibility check your current backup file version against the iPrism version:

Go to System > Backups > select Restore from Backup (see below)> clickRestore.

Navigate to the iPrism backup file you wish to restore, and click Open.

A Notice dialog box displays. If there is an incompatibility (such as a version mismatch) between the file you are trying restore and version of iPrism you are currently using, you will not be allowed to perform the restore function. Otherwise, you can click OK to initiate the restore process.

When the restore process is complete, a Notice dialog box displays, telling you how to proceed with the restore process

Click OK. Within two minutes, the iPrism unit will reboot under the configuration you just restored. The next time you login to iPrism, the settings from the backup will be in place.

Restoring iPrism to its Default (Factory) Configuration

Warning: Restoring the iPrism to its factory settings will clear all user defined configuration information. This will restore iPrism back to it's "out of the box" state. All settings, including network settings, are lost or set back to their default values. You should do a backup of your current configuration before performing this procedure so you can return to your current settings if needed. When you log into iPrism again, you will be presented with the installation wizard, as if you were setting up iPrism for the first time. Refer to your iPrism Installation Guide for assistance.

Go to System > Backups > select Restore Factory Configuration > click Restore.

A Notice dialog box informs you about the ramifications of the choice you have made.

Click OK to proceed with the destructive restoration that you have selected. If you want to cancel this process now, click the Cancel button.

If you clicked OK, the iPrism unit will reboot within two minutes, and your iPrism session will end.
